Or you could have 1 poor fan who buys nothing and a customer who has no one to play with. So you could have a customer that buys infantry and pirates a tank and plays with a customer who bought both. Lets say someone 3D prints a Tank he surely doesn't want to 3D print the infantry (3D printers are not that good to get these details. And in some cases even have a chance to gain something else or something in the future. ![]() They don't loose anything they just don't get anything. And they still play the game are active in communities and so on.Īnd what companies still don't get a pirate is not lost profit. They are supporting a different side of the hobby. So many Chapter shoulderplates on sites like shapeways or thingiverse. 3D printing could lead to a lot of unique individual things or conversion bits. And even with 3D printing they support the hobby. And I understand your general point but I wouldn't condemn 3D printing them. ![]() Some people can't afford a thing and maybe still want to play the game so I understand papercraft.ģD printer are expensive to get and need a lot of work and even try and error to get what you want. Well GW would probably disagree with that considering they sued other manufacturers. ![]()
